Drone Roof Inspections

The advent of drone technology has revolutionized the inspection industry, enabling faster, safer, and more cost-effective roof inspections.

Roof inspection drones are equipped with high-resolution cameras and sensors which can capture detailed images and data of structures. This lets a drone handle roof inspections faster and with more accuracy than traditional roof inspections.

Drones can inspect roofs that are unsafe for people, like heavily damaged structures or high-rise buildings.

  • Drone Roof Inspections: UAVs provide high-resolution roof imagery to detect cracks, leaks, and damage.
  • Safe and Accessible: Drones safely inspect difficult roofs, eliminating the need for hazardous manual checks.
  • Time and Cost Savings: Quicker and more economical than traditional roof inspections.
  • Maintenance Support: Drone assessments complement regular professional roof maintenance, not replace it.
  • Compliance with Regulations: In some cases regular roof inspections may be required by law or insurance policies

3D Drone Mapping and Modeling

Drone mapping services provided are intended for visual augmentation and should not be used as a substitute for traditional land surveying methods.

  • Orthomosaic Maps: These are high-resolution aerial images that have been geometrically corrected (orthorectified) to remove the effects of terrain relief and camera orientation. Orthomosaic maps can be used to create 2D maps or 3D models of an area.
  • Digital Elevation Models (DEMs): These are 3D representations of an area that show the terrain’s elevation. DEMs can be created from aerial imagery or lidar (light detection and ranging) data collected by drones.
  • 3D Models: Drones can be used to create 3D models of buildings, infrastructure, and other features. These models can be used for a variety of purposes, such as asset management, planning, and visualization.
  • Videos and Photos: Drones can capture high-resolution videos and photos of an area from a bird’s-eye view. These can be used for documentation, marketing, and other purposes.
  • Thermal Imagery: Drones equipped with thermal cameras can capture images that show the temperature of an area or object. This can be useful for identifying problems, such as insulation issues or overheated machinery.

Infrastructure Inspections

NRG Environmental's drone offers a cost-effective and safe alternative to traditional inspection methods. Our drones are able to capture detailed images and data about the structures and equipment. Our drone inspection services are suitable for a wide range of industries, including:

  • Industrial Facilities: Drone inspections for factories, warehouses, and power plants, focusing on equipment and infrastructure integrity.
  • Oil and Gas: Aerial surveillance of pipelines, storage tanks, and offshore platforms to prevent costly repairs.
  • Construction: Drone monitoring for buildings and bridges, ensuring adherence to standards and early issue detection.
  • Energy: Inspections of wind turbines, solar panels, and power lines for optimal operation and safety.
  • Telecommunications: Aerial checks of cell towers and antennae for signal strength and coverage issues.
  • Agriculture: Drone surveys of crops, livestock, and irrigation to enhance yield and livestock health.

Not only do our drone inspection services save time and money, they also minimize the risk to our clients and their employees. Traditional inspection methods often require personnel to work at heights or in hazardous conditions, but with our drones, we can safely and efficiently collect the necessary data without putting anyone in harm’s way.

Videography / Photography

NRG Environmental understands that drone photography services can help to sell commercial real estate.

  • Showcasing Scale and Proximity: Drone imagery captures the expansive layout and strategic location of commercial properties, essential for attracting corporate buyers or lessees.
  • Detailed Site Analysis: Utilize drone data to generate topographic mapping and site information, crucial for potential clients assessing the property's commercial viability.
  • Comprehensive Inspections: Perform in-depth inspections of commercial infrastructure, including large roofs and facades, to facilitate maintenance and enhance property appeal.

The use of drones in the sale of commercial real estate can help businesses to showcase properties more effectively, provide potential buyers or renters with a better understanding of the property, and identify any issues that may need to be addressed before the sale.

Thermal Drone Services

NRG Environmental conducts industrial drone inspections using thermal-imaging. A solar evaluations, detailed 2D/3D mapping and precision agriculture. Our drone thermal inspection is great for detecting building heat loss, structural irregularities, roof leaks, and water intrusion, benefiting sectors such as construction, energy, and agriculture.
